Ending Rehearsals on the Right Note!

For our last week of rehearsals, we wanted to provide you with some fun ideas to make the most of your final day before production! Keep reading to find out how you can make your last bit of time together as a cast super special!

1. Teacher Gifts

Unless they are joining us as a crew member, most of our teachers won't see you at your final performance. This means that for most Innovative Staff, the last day of rehearsals is your last day to say thank you and goodbye for the season! Writing a card, picking up some flowers, or bringing in a little gift is a wonderful way to end a great season of rehearsals, and to thank your teachers for all their hard work!

2. Cast Souvenirs

Creating or picking up something for your cast that represents the memory of your time together is always such a great way to say goodbye! Some students prefer to bring things in for their cast on the final performance day, but so much is going on on that day, it might be easier to bring to rehearsal. Some great cast gift ideas are show-themed cards, trinkets, thankyou notes or treats!

3. Cast Get-Together

The best part of participating in musical theatre is the brilliant community you build, so it is always so nice when students get together after their final performance. Planning a dinner or hang-out with your cast is a great way to ensure that you get the time to process and appreciate everyone’s hard work on set - plus have some laughs with the friends that made it all happen! Take the time to plan something fun with your cast to wrap up your season!

It’s always so bittersweet when rehearsals come to an end. We hope that you have had an incredible season and we cannot wait to see you all for our next show!
