Who are we?
Welcome to Innovative Arts!
We are Sophie and Nathan McLeod and we started Innovative Arts 9 years ago!
Before Innovative, Nathan was a professional actor working in the film and TV industry (Life With Boys, Good Witch, etc.) with a history of professional stage performances, including performing at the prestigious Stratford Festival!
Sophie graduated from the esteemed Musical Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College and performed professionally across Canada, with her highlight performance being Mamma Mia in Winnipeg while 7 months pregnant!
Since the start of Innovative, we've gotten married, had two strikingly blonde baby boys (Wyatt and Beau), and produced over 19 incredible musicals together - starring our amazing Innovative students!
During the pandemic, we switched to filmed pieces, but we cannot wait to get back on stage for our upcoming productions in 2022-2023!
